MAYBE TOO BROKEN

After the release of the PAST THE BREAKERS EP (2016, Brothers and Sisters Records), ROOM CONTROL decided to record four new tracks (COMMANDO, RATNUS, SUNSEEKER, SPAGHETTI HAÜS) and two older live favourites (IN PURSUIT, IN THE VALLEY OF DYING STARS) at Freq Shop Studios (Montreal, QC) in the summer of 2018 with recording / mixing engineer Eric Saucke-Lacelle.

Going for a more “live off the floor” feeling, the group used minimal overdubs and recorded the entirety of the album in two days with few takes.

About ROOM CONTROL:

ROOM CONTROL is an instrumental trio consisting of: Richard Bunze on bass, guitars, effects pedals; Byron on synthesizers, effects pedals, samples, field recordings; Dan Stefik on drums, percussion. Their music fuses a range of genres including, Psych, Krautrock, Electronic, Prog, Shoegaze, and Post-Rock.
